The ifom.gr Ιππικός Φυσιολατρικός Όμιλος Μηλεών offers unique horseback riding experiences, combining the breathtaking beauty of Pelion with safety, professionalism, and a genuine love for horses.
Accompanied by our certified and experienced trail riding guides, visitors have the opportunity to explore Pelion through carefully selected routes that pass through lush forests, traditional olive groves, rivers, beaches, and sites of exceptional natural and historical significance.
Our activities are designed for both beginners and experienced riders, with special emphasis on safety, horse welfare, and personalized service for every guest.
Our Experiences
- Junior Ride (15 min) – A safe introduction to horseback riding for children aged 2–5, accompanied at all times by our experienced guides.
- Sea Ride (1 hour) – A scenic ride following the river, shaded by plane trees, leading to the beach and returning through traditional olive groves.
- Mountain Ride (1 hour) – A beautiful trail through the lush mountain paths of Pelion, ideal for riders who love nature and mountain landscapes.
- Mountain & Sea Experience (2 hours) – A complete riding adventure that combines mountain and seaside trails or, depending on the season and weather conditions, follows exclusively the mountain routes of Pelion.
- Centaur's Cave Ride – A unique mythological journey to the legendary Cave of Chiron, blending history, Greek mythology, and the natural beauty of Pelion.
- Panagiotiko Dam Ride – A spectacular excursion through forests and olive groves to the beautiful Panagiotiko Dam, ideal for experienced riders seeking a more adventurous experience.
All rides are available by reservation and are led by experienced guides who ensure that every participant enjoys a safe, enjoyable, and unforgettable experience.

Our Horses
The experiences we offer are made possible by our exceptional Greek Pindos Horses, a hardy, gentle native breed ideally suited to trail riding and nature excursions.
All of our horses come from the breeding program established by Zisis Vitos, which began in 1991 in his hometown of Spilaio, Grevena. With more than three decades of dedication to breeding, training, and caring for the Greek Pindos Horse, our goal is to preserve and promote this important native breed while providing every visitor with a safe and authentic riding experience.
Their calm temperament, endurance, and reliability make our horses ideal companions for both beginner and experienced riders, offering an experience that combines tradition, respect for the horse, and the authentic beauty of Pelion.
Our Story
Our family's love for horses has deep roots and has been passed down through four generations.
It all began with Zisis Vitos, the family's grandfather, who worked as a shepherd and relied on his horses every day as his primary means of transportation and an invaluable partner in his daily work. His close relationship with horses laid the foundation for a tradition that continues to this day.
In 1991, his son established an organized breeding program for the Greek Pindos Horse in the family's birthplace, Spilaio, Grevena, with the aim of preserving and promoting this unique Greek breed.
In 2004, together with his wife, he founded the Pelion Equestrian & Nature Club, transforming the family's lifelong passion into a place where people, horses, and nature coexist in harmony and mutual respect.
Today, the club is managed by the family's children, who proudly continue the work of their parents and grandfather with the same passion, responsibility, and dedication. The younger generation actively participates in the daily care of the horses and the operation of the club, preserving the values and traditions that have defined our family for decades.
For us, horses are far more than part of our profession—they are members of our family. Through love, respect, and daily care, we provide an environment where their welfare always comes first, allowing every visitor to enjoy an authentic experience built on tradition, hospitality, and the genuine relationship between humans and horses.

Booking Terms & Conditions
All activities are available by appointment only to ensure the availability of both our horses and our guides.
All rides are offered as private experiences, exclusively for your own group, providing a more personal, safe, and enjoyable experience.
A booking is confirmed upon receipt of a deposit via bank transfer.
Cancellations or changes to the date or time of your booking may be made up to 48 hours before the scheduled activity. In this case, your deposit will either be refunded or transferred to a new booking date, upon request.
For cancellations made less than 48 hours before the activity or in the event of a no-show, the deposit is non-refundable.
All activities are subject to suitable weather conditions and are carried out with the safety of our guests and the welfare of our horses as our highest priorities. If an activity is cancelled by the Club due to adverse weather or other safety-related reasons, the deposit will be fully refunded or transferred to a new date, according to the guest's preference.
